Ecard Pt. 2

Here is the finished project.

Ecard part 1

My sketch shows the 3 parts of the ecard. the first page is a bulb with a recycle symbol in the middle and the words "How Much Solar Would You Need?"

The middle page is of a house with solar panels on the roof. Text reads stats on how many panels needed for an average size home in the U.S.

Last page has details for typical solar panel system for a small, medium or large house. Text in the center of the page reads "Energy Matters"

These are the images I plan on using.

Weather Report book cover

The jazz band I chose to use for my book cover is Weather Report. My book cover will consist of  a musical banner with the band title and music notes. Below the banner will be a photo of the band members. The side of the book jacket will have the band name, a time signature symbol and my made up publishers logo. The back of my book jacket with have a photo of the band, framed, with a brief  description of the book underneath. The bottom left corner of will have a sku barcode and price of the book along with the publishers logo.

Environmental Awareness

I decided to create a poster for Environmental Awareness. I intend on using images of cupped hands, the world, a polar bear on a melting iceberg, and a stream of words layered within the world.

So far this is what I've put together. still a work in progress...

Wai Kru... Photomontage Pt. 2

This week I worked on taking my shabby sketch from chicken scratch notes to transforming it into a photomontage. I incorporated most of the photographs I had initially planned on using as well as some that were not in my initial sketch. I used a series of layers, and blending techniques to achieve the final image.
The name of my band is Wai Kru. The Wai Khru is a traditional Thai ritual. Muay Thai fighters perform this ritual before a fight to pay respect and homage to their teachers. Traditional Muay Thai music is played during the Wai Khru performance as well as the fight. In my photomontage I've incorporated several traditional Thai instruments, tapestry, dancer, buddha and a professional Thai boxer.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the final product.
